Romans are famous for many things including their art, army and the Coliseum.
Roman Art:
The golden period of ancient Roman art was between 750 BC and 410 AD. Architecture, painting, mosaic work and sculpture were the most favored art forms of ancient Rome. While ivory carving, figurine glass, pottery, metal work, gem engraving and coin-die were the less liked forms of art.
The Roman Army:
The Roman Army was famous because it was the most advanced of its time and conquered most of the most world in that time. Also the Roman Army had a large number of soldiers. One important part of the the Roman Army was their formation, this would stand between their victory or defeat.
The Coliseum:
The Coliseum was a large, circular gladiator ring. It is were gladiators would fight to the death either with other gladiators or lions or tigers. Many historical battles took place in the Coliseum.
